Really like the A's at home and the Blue Jays have been awful vs. LHP all year long as they are -.26 in average on the road vs. LHP and -1.34 in runs per 9 at just 3.21 vs. LHP. Oakland meanwhile is 8-1 in their last 9 home games vs. RH starters and has hit well at home. They send Brett Anderson who I feel is getting a lot of value in this start at -130 even. Anderson has come off back to back starts of 7IP with 2 ER or less. I think he puts together a gem here tonight as Toronto struggles vs. LHP and has not faced Anderson yet. Marcum has been good against the A's in the past with just 3 ER in his last 3 over 20.1 IP but all three have been at home. He has a 5-3 record with a 4.62 ERA on the road and 4.52 ERA at night where he'll be pitching 3 hours later than he's used to not something he's done many times in his young career.
The Dodgers bullpen has been awful with an ERA of 10.64 in their last 5 and 6.67 in their last 10. They have scored just 3 runs in the first three games and they go up against a hot Tommy Hanson with a 0.70 whip and 0.84 ERA in his last 3 starts. Braves have also been hitting the ball .270 average and 6.15 runs per 9 in their last 10 games with a 3.70 bullpen ERA vs. RHP. Billingsley has also pitched well but is just 1-4 in his career vs. ATlanta. He's still pitched well, but this is the Dodgers 7th road game on the east cost in 7 days. La is just 7-19 in their last 26 road vs. a winning team and 3-13 in their last 16 overall. Atlanta is 39-19 in their last 58 vs. RH starter and the Dodgers just 3-7 last 10 in Atlanta.
